DESCRIPTION
- Replacement of an old staircase to improve access and make the entrance hall lighter. The new design uses the wall for support, as well as a single box stringer to support the lower run. Black RAL colour steelwork was used to retain some of the feel of the original staircase.
TECHNICAL
- • 55mm natural beech treads
• Treads offset from the wall
• Treads extended into recessed opening
• Steel box section stringer in RAL powder-coated finish
• 42mm diameter steel connecting bolts and posts in RAL lacquered finish
• 16mm diameter steel spindles in RAL lacquered finish
• Continuous 50mm diameter natural beech handrails with compound mitre
